Subassembly Partition of Hull Block Based on Two-Dimensional PSO Algorithm

Subassembly partition is an important process in hull block building as it greatly affects the efficiency and quality of assembly work. Recently, experience-based method has been widely applied to subassembly process, which consumes much design time manpower, thus causing more challenges toward a highly automated efficient stage this process. To shorten gap, presented study. First, information model defined with essential attributes topological relations parts. Second, optimization established consideration trade-off between intra-cluster cohesion cluster number on premise satisfying certain constraints. After that, considering fuzziness diversity problem, two-dimensional coding discrete particle swarm (PSO) algorithm developed. Finally, two blocks are demonstrated instances verify proposed method, results show that feasible applicable flat structure.
